Bizarre as it may sound, I find that as I return to places that I knew well as a child or even more recently, I now see them through the eyes rather of a tourist than a local...This is the village where I went to primary school, gym club, Bonfire Night...
The picture captures the feeling; I have never seen such a beautiful sunset over the village green.
